Dataiku aims to show GITEX 2023 attendees the advantages of Everyday AI

Dataiku has announced it will exhibit at GITEX Global this year, focusing on “Maximising Business Value with AI: Scaling Across the Organisation.” As the region experiences a significant increase in the adoption of various AI technologies, Dataiku aims to demonstrate how it empowers organisations to maximise the benefits of their AI investments, catering to a diverse array of skill sets and roles.

A recent study by Dataiku reveals that 98% of UAE organisations view AI as a significant business enabler. It also found that 74% of respondents indicated their organisation had either maintained or increased investment in AI recently. Moreover, 68% of UAE organisations are allocating up to half of their technology budget to AI initiatives.

“Dataiku is the Everyday AI company,” said Sid Bhatia, Regional VP and GM for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Dataiku. “By empowering data experts and domain experts to work together to build AI into their daily operations, we enable everyone to add value — to be extraordinary and to power their company into the future as a competitive force. We will attend GITEX 2023 at a nexus point in the history of AI, when technologies such as large-language models have entered the public consciousness and are seeing accelerated adoption. Our goal at this year’s event is to put these developments in context and show attendees how they can leverage them to mature their AI mix.”

Dataiku’s focus for GITEX 2023 will be its newly updated flagship platform, Dataiku 12. This platform integrates with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, allowing business users to include learning models into their native data projects. Version 12 also prioritises transparency and trust, eliminating “black box” tendencies in AI through Transparent Automated Feature Generation. The platform introduces Causal Machine Learning to guard against mistaking correlation for causation, a common analytical error. Dataiku aims to democratise these capabilities, ensuring that anyone building Machine Learning models can understand the source of the results.

Continuing the theme of transparency, Universal Feature Importance resolves issues some Machine Learning models have with providing limited explanations for decisions. The newest version also includes an override feature, acknowledging the need for human oversight. Furthermore, Model Risk Project Views enables business leaders and analysts to discover and mitigate risks in AI projects.

Dataiku 12 aligns with the company’s vision that AI should be accessible to everyone. At GITEX 2023, Dataiku will encourage businesses and government entities to adopt AI across their organisations. Technologists will appreciate its infrastructure-agnostic, modular architecture, allowing it to function as a SaaS application, on-premises or in any designated cloud.

Business experts will find a wealth of meaningful insights and the capability to detect quality issues such as outliers and missing or invalid values through automatic data profiling and advanced statistical analyses. Smart Assistants guide them in identifying relationships and creating visual dashboards that can be shared with other team members.

For enterprise experts, Dataiku 12 automates tasks and pipelines, delivering clean, reliable and timely data across the business. Dataiku Govern offers a single-pane management tool for progress tracking and the delivery of responsible AI.

“Each year, we come to GITEX to deliver a simple message: Everyday AI is a winning strategy,” said Bhatia. “In 2023, with adoption rates higher than ever, we see signs that the message is starting to sink in. This year, we shall be talking to a more receptive audience than ever before. That is exciting, not only for Dataiku but for the entire region.”

Dataiku will exhibit from Stand CC2-15 at GITEX Global 2023.
